Home Health Services

How We Help

Many of the services offered by rehab facilities, nursing homes, doctors' offices, and hospitals are also available in the comfort of your own home, with Medicare paying 100%. We schedule clinicians to visit the homes of our patients multiple times per week, for weeks, and even months, to ensure recovery goes as planned. This also works to prevent unnecessary emergency care and hospitalization. Research shows that the watchful eye and skilled guidance of home health nurses and therapists improve outcomes, protect lives, and cut overall healthcare spending. If you or someone you care for could benefit from home-visiting nurses or therapists, please don't hesitate to start a conversation about your situation.

Payors & Qualifications

Safe Life Home Health works with most major insurance and Medicare. For qualified beneficiaries, Medicare pays Safe Life 100% of our charges. That means there are no deductibles or copays to worry about. To qualify, a patient must need the services of a nurse or therapist. A patient must also have trouble leaving the home due to illness or injury, such that trips away from home require the use of special equipment and/or help from a person. Trips away from home should be short and infrequent due to the taxing effort involved.

Preventing Rehospitalizations

The goal of preventing unnecessary emergency care and hospitalizations serves as a cornerstone for all services at Safe Life Home Health Care. We work in partnership with the hospitals, nursing homes, and rehab facilities of the Metropolitan Chicago region, who have a vested interest in making sure patients discharged to home recover successfully at home. Moreover, taking the necessary steps to prevent rehospitalization protects patient safety and peace of mind while keeping their overall healthcare expenses lower.
